Ministry of National Defense claimed today (02/23) that the service of the General had been arranged for the personnel change with the approval of the President:

1. Admiral Pu, Tze-chun, the Deputy Minister, Ministry of National Defense, had been appointed to be the military strategy consultant of Presidential Office for the mission requirement.
2. General Shen Yi-ming, the Commanding General of the Air Force, strived to promote the interaction of international military affairs, indigenous fighter plane program, combat operation and training, and disaster prevention and rescue with great contribution during his service in the Air Force Command Headquarters. The position had been accomplished for 3 years and 1 month; therefore, he had been appointed to be the Deputy Minister, Ministry of National Defense, to continue the promotion of military affairs with his abundant experience.
3. The above personnel change shall become effective from March 1^st, 2018.

1. Education: R.O.C. Naval Academy (1978), Naval War College (1997), Master of Business Administration, Southeastern University, USA
2. Experience: Director, Office of the Deputy Chief of the General Staff for Logistics ; Commander, Navy Fleet Command; Deputy Commanding General, Navy Command Headquarters; Executive Officer of Navy Deputy Chief of Staff; Deputy Minister, Ministry of National Defense.
